Honestly I don't even remember how I found Disillusion, but this is one of the best albums to ever grace my ears. Top three easy.

Gloria...I don't know what to say. After putting it in the cd player for the car ride home I quickly took it out thinking a colossal mistake had been made and a different band's cd had been put in my Disillusion 'Gloria' case. I removed it quickly, yelled, swore, and never gave it another chance for weeks. But honestly, how does a band live up to BTTOS??

And after giving Gloria a chance I have come to appreciate it, in a total different way. It's still a good album, but with expectations that high I think anyone would be a little disappointed....

I hear what you're saying. Blackwater Park is phenomenal... I won't hold it against you, haha!

Yeah, I'm not sure how these guys aren't more well-known. Gloria was much different than this album, but I really like it too. And from the looks of their website, they might have another album on the way. It'll be interesting to see if/how they redefine themselves again. Hopefully they'll finally get some widespread attention.

Thank you for recommending this great album. I was sold the moment you mentioned Blackwater Park, "Back to the times.." is not as great (please forgive me, my inner fangirl demanded that I write this ;) ) but still amazingly good. How come I've never heard of them? Once again thanks :)

I agree! Frankly, I'm amazed I didn't hear about these guys sooner. It still shocks me to think that this album has been out for 5 years without catching my attention.

Back to Times of Splendor is fantastic! I bought on iTunes on your recommendation right after first reading this article, and I have been listening to it nearly nonstop since.
