You are right....it was completely unfair for me to be so harsh on Rick James. My comment should be stricken from the record...especially because I doubt I have even heard 5% of his work.

I suppose we can't. I guess I'm assuming Satriani would be smart enough to use a time machine for better uses... like holding up our forefathers with a tank until they decided to never allow New Jersey to join the Union.

I agree with you on this one, but how can we be 100% sure that Satriani didn't invent a time machine, travel in to the future, and plagiarize Coldplay?
