I've recently gotten into the whole "post-metal" scene through the obvious gateway Isis (specifically the Panopticon album).

Unfortunately, that has lead me to some other bands that haven't quite hit the same chords for me yet, such as Cult of Luna and Year of No Light, though I am starting to get hooked on Pelican.

These guys sound like just my cup of tea though so thanks for sharing, I am going to check them out!

I just wanted to post a quick follow-up. I've now had plenty of time to fully absorb the new Russian Circles album Station... and I must say that I like it at least as much as the first. If you liked their first album, Station is a must have.
