With such a vast amount of music available in the world, its sometimes better to say no to music that is not the best. If you leave room for mediocre music in your space, then you're no longer an obnoxious listener. And I for one love being obnoxious!

Sinking any bit is not a good sign. Perhaps they didn't go as low, but they don't sound like quality music anymore. I think of music as either quality or not - hard to be in between.

I know you didn't just compare Finger Eleven to Nickelback... they didn't sink that low.. haha

I hate when what we thought was a good band goes and becomes a mainstream pop group. Felt real similar about Nickelback when they released "The State" and "Silver Side Up". As poppy and non-quality as they are right now, they used to sound good in their early days.

Being an Obnoxious Listener, I do act like those newer albums never came out! Then I can actually listen to their old music without thinking about the band itself.
