Ra's first album was def their best compilation of music. Though their newer albums have good tracks, its not as impressionable as their first.

My college roommate, Eric Leitao, had introduced me to Ra back in 2003. I had liked them so much that I want to go see them perform near or on Valentines Day before I met up with my date. I wanted to get their on time before they started, and I ended up getting my first ever speeding ticket. Then as a way of remembering that night, I had the whole band sign the speeding ticket. They were even nice enough to apologize for the ticket, even though it wasn't their fault. I'll see if I can dig it up and post it here!

Upon finishing this post, I found that Ra is actually releasing a new album sometime this year. They've got a new single posted through their site. I'm literally just now checking it out. I'm not quite sure what to think of it yet. I'm worried the new album may require a new set of ears as Onesidezero required, which may not be a bad thing. But only time will tell.
