Also check out Soilwork if you haven't yet, especially their album Figure Number Five. Similar Melo-Death sound to Scar Symmetry.

Hey I see you've discovered Scar Symmetry. I have their previous two albums and I really love Pitch Black Progress (2006 I think). I didn't know they had recorded a new one so I'll have to check it out.

I definitely recommend PBP, specifically the songs The Illusionist and Mind Machinery.
