Hahaha, I honestly don't think they put that much thought into the title, and even if they did H would stand for 8 (or so the Wiki article on numerology claims ) but on the other hand you never know :D

As for the interview it was recorded on 23.09.09 before their first concert on polish tour - its here:

Sounds intriguing... as always, I look forward to hearing any music Mariusz creates. Thanks for the info! Where did you catch that interview? I looked online, and this was the closest I found, but it's text.

It's interesting how they got an album length of 44:44... I thought it was because the album name was ADHD... A and H could each be kind of formed from a 4, and D is the fourth letter in the alphabet... but I guess that's what I get for thinking too much!

I recently saw an interview with Mariusz and he mentioned that after the Riverside tour they are having right now, he wants to enter the recording studio and he plans to record new Lunatic Soul album. He also hopes that album can be released in autumn next year, as this season has "lunatic" feel about it. He also mentions that this album will be white as opposed to the previous black and it will feature songs that are not entirely dark and depressing. He wants the new songs to have "there is some light in the dark" feeling but at the same time he says that musically it wont be that much different, as he wants Lunatic Soul to have its own, distinctive, recognizable sound.
So we have to wait one year and see what he come up with :).

Agreed. His track record with Indukti, Riverside, and now Lunatic Soul has convinced me to purchase anything else he releases in the future. That's awesome that you got meet him! He's a really nice guy and easy to talk to. We hope to meet him again someday.

A fantastic album, a dark and melancholic journey through the musical mind of Mariusz Duda. I've met him twice but have yet to have a real conversation with him about his music and how it is very close to my heart and/or soul. Definitely one of the best albums of 2008. Hoping to see/hear another solo project by him later on in the future.

After having interviewed Mariuz and introduced to his musical content in the form of Riverside + appearances on Indukti, I found a way to relate to this album and appreciate it. But I don't think I would have liked this album out right if someone gave me a CD and said "listen".

I will say that I really like this album. Mariuz has music flowing in his blood and he's very grounded in producing quality sound. His voice is also very melodic that it flows perfect with the music he produces. All in all - I'm a big fan.

good point about the side projects. he's certainly prolific, but there is a kind of epic mortality to this latest project. Love the morbid, tribal feel of Out on a Limb and how it oscillates between silences and symphonies...

Dude this guy is a monster. He hasn't withstood the test of time yet, but I see him soon joining the ranks of Mikael Akerfeldt, Steven Wilson, and others as one of today's true musical greats.
