I agree; a recording artist is pretty useless if he/she can't put together a solid album, as opposed to just random hits every once in a while.

I guess it's just a word to signify a compilation of music by an artist during one segment of time. Though I see your point, I still do listen to albums instead of just random songs or hits. Even though iTunes and other stores have made it really easy to buy single songs, I've gotten use to purchasing a whole album or not purchasing at all.

I usually refer to them as albums still. But it does seem CD has an added connotation of simply having the music from that particular release. For that matter... I'll call them releases too.

I'm still not sure that your pronunciation is correct?

But...unrelated...your review brings me to another interesting point... What's the real significance of the word "album" anymore? Do kids go to the store to pick up their favorite band's "album"? Are they even called "albums" anymore? Are they even called "CDs" anymore? I mean, I respect your usage...I'm not knockin' that shiznit at all and I "get" the reference.

Damn, I almost forgot about this record. It was a summer 2004, when I was 13. My cousin brought this album by, first time I ever smoked was to the song "crumbling herb" . I admit, I fell off Outkast after ATLiens. I need to go dig through my old CD's and find this jam. It's been forever.
