Nothing about Atmosphere or Slug for that matter remind me of Eminem. I feel that Atmosphere is far more eloquent and talented. I really really do. This is a great allbum.

i always liked atmosphere - has some dope lines. I saw him at scribblejam in like 2003 or some shit and he blew apart the place.

Decent lyrics, but then again I'm no expert in the hip-hop-osphere.

Not because he's white, but he definitely reminds me of Eminem due to his melancholy nature and the sadness around his life (and surrounding world) . But he trumps Eminem when it comes to story telling and being able to tell his story in not such an anger-filled tone.

What I appreciate so far about Atmosphere is that he keeps it simple and straightforward. He spits lines that make the average listener feel like they can relate. On "In Her Music Box", I like this line:

and that little match box looks just like dads car
its fast on the lever, pretends its nascar
it jumps over elmo cause it can fly that far
with daddy in the front seat frontin' like a rapstar

The production value was decent on the few tracks I heard. I'll have to give it a few more listens to see the hard hitting beats you're referring to.
